Leidos’ Defense, Uncrewed Systems Integration and Test seeks a motivated UAS Systems Integration Engineer for the S3I Joint Technology Center – Systems Integration Lab Technology and Certification Center. This role conducts assessments to ensure system components work together as intended. It applies a holistic approach to analyze complex structures and interactions.

Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in system integration, performance, and deployment. Implement and maintain system configurations for optimal performance, security, and stability. Perform system installation, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting in Linux-based environments and containerized applications.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical team members
U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain Final Secret Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+ Certification
On-site work with ability to travel up to 25% and reside in or relocate to Huntsville, AL area

Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, performance, and deployment
Implement and maintain system configurations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and stability
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for supported systems, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles
Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems integration processes and tools
Perform system installation, configuration, and support of fielded systems including advanced troubleshooting focused on Linux-based environments and containerized applications
