About this role
Scalian's Mission Critical Systems bureau d’études, with over 14 years of experience, designs and develops critical systems for aerospace, aeronautics, defense, and rail industries. Expertise covers digital electronics, FPGA, analog and power, instrumentation, test benches, calculators, electronic boards, and embedded software. Based in Toulouse, the center unites 90 engineers for complex projects in France and internationally, supported by a 250-engineer French community.
Join teams at a client specializing in ventilation and cooling systems for civil and military aeronautics. Ensure quality for electronic and software assurance by guaranteeing process compliance on hardware and software developments. Review and validate project documents while participating in or leading quality milestones.
Pilot KPIs and dashboards to track project quality, contribute to configuration management, and provide technical support during progress reviews. Offer quality support for series life, including design evolutions, obsolescences, and production issues. Validate series deliverables such as obsolescence sheets.
Drive continuous improvement by updating and enhancing generic software and hardware plans. Optimize templates and end-of-phase review supports. Verify integration of normative evolutions like DO-178 and DO-254 into processes.
Requirements
- BAC+5 training with specialization in electronics
- 7+ years experience in HW/SW design or aeronautical systems quality
- Good knowledge of DO-178 / DO-254 standards
- Knowledge of hardware/software equipment design processes
- Experience in reviewing and validating avionics project documentation
- Familiarity with quality milestones and KPI tracking in aerospace projects
- Understanding of configuration management for critical systems
