In the Systems Engineer role, utilize knowledge for clarification of requirements, system engineering analyses, algorithm development, and interface definition. Decompose requirements and support validation and verification processes. This part-time position targets senior or postgraduate students graduating May or August 2027.

Requirements
- Senior or postgraduate student in Computer Science or related STEM field
- Expected graduation date of May 2027 or August 2027
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
- DoD Clearance: TS/SCI
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Complete Co-op Program Agreement and SF-86 upon selection
- Maintain eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance throughout program
Responsibilities
- Analyze and define how the system works, creating use cases
- Decompose requirements and define system interfaces
- Determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
- Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Flight Test activities in labs
- Clarify requirements and perform system engineering analyses
- Develop algorithms for systems engineering
- Define and derive requirements
- Conduct requirement validation and verification
