Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures, determines facility specifications, and resolves technical problems while recommending production improvements.

Develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyzes workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layouts for maximum efficiency. Determines parts, equipment, tools, and processes to meet manufacturing goals per product specifications.

Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in manufacturing engineering with basic knowledge of related disciplines. Works independently with minimal guidance, solves complex problems, and acts as a resource for colleagues.
