About this role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Structure Stress Engineer to join the Wide Bodies A350 and A330 Product Delivery team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing Technical Support within the Fuselage Structure WB MAP/PET team. The role involves providing technical solutions for airframe problems encountered during production to secure aircraft deliveries on time and with quality.

You will ensure liaison with stakeholders including FAL, Client Line, Flight Tests, Program, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to frame Non-Conformities. Analyze impacts on airworthiness requirements and provide evaluations to regain conformity. Ensure technical content in documents like NCs, Concessions, and Design Request Notes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Solid experience in stress analysis of structures
  • Knowledge of aircraft fuselage structures and airworthiness requirements
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis for structural integrity
  • Experience with non-conformity management in aerospace production
  • Ability to interface with production, quality, and engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Ensure liaison with all stakeholders (FAL, Client Line, Flight Tests, Program, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.) to frame Non-Conformities (NC)
  • Analyze impact of any NC on aircraft airworthiness requirements and provide technical evaluation to regain conformity
  • Ensure technical content of all aircraft conformity documents (NC, Concessions, Design Request Notes, etc.)
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or recurrent problems and contribute to process and procedure improvements
  • Represent airframe engineering for quality improvements, including root cause investigations of NCs and corrective actions
  • Perform stress analysis on fuselage structures to evaluate non-conformities during production
  • Provide solutions to secure aircraft deliveries within deadlines and quality standards
