Centennial, US · Full-time · $90,000 – $200,000

About this role

ARES seeks an Aerospace Systems Engineer to join an engineering team supporting Blue Origin and NASA’s Human Landing System (HLS) Program. The selected candidate will perform a range of Systems Engineering tasks, including development of Hazard Analyses, Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA), and reliability assessments. These efforts support HLS element design and development.

Conduct Hazard Analyses for flight-critical systems encompassing both ground and flight operations. Develop FMEA to identify, assess, and prioritize potential failure modes and their effects on system performance and safety. Perform reliability assessments to evaluate the system’s ability to accomplish its intended function throughout mission operations.

The preferred location is near Blue Origin’s Denver, CO facility to enable in-person collaboration; however, fully remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates. Demonstrate ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proven time management and organizational skills help handle multiple competing priorities.

Multiple positions are available for both experienced professionals and early-career engineers. Commitment to achieving outstanding customer results and high-quality technical deliverables. ARES offers a competitive compensation and benefit package with participation in medical, dental, and vision insurance.
