About this role

Systems definition for Avionics Domain and development of Centralized and Recording Systems form the core of this role. Main tasks include operational requirements analysis and avionics systems architecture definition. Specification of functional and equipment requirements ensures alignment with program needs.

Generate and maintain design documentation such as interface control documents, requirements documents, and test protocols. Perform equipment engineering tasks including manufacturer monitoring and qualification monitoring. Execute integration, validation, and verification tasks of avionics systems.

Contribute to Safety and Security analysis, Certification, and Qualification processes. Identify development life cycle activities necessary to develop systems consistent with regulations. Define checkpoints and reviews with maturity expectations aligned with program phases and gates.

Work closely sharing industrial and functional design views across the whole product lifecycle with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and other disciplines. Understand organization, infrastructure, constraints of program industrial planning and global systems interdependencies. Provide support to services in a collaborative aerospace environment.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in Engineering
  • Experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience in Avionics
  • English advanced
  • Spanish will be valuable
  • Knowledge of avionics systems architecture
  • Familiarity with certification and qualification processes
