Requirements

  • Master's degree in STEM field
  • Strong interest in aerodynamics and/or steady state aeroelasticity shown in master's thesis
  • Good technical knowledge in flight physics, aerodynamics, and aircraft loads from studies
  • Curiosity and interest in manoeuvre loads computation
  • Familiarity with aerodynamics modelling techniques
  • Understanding of steady state aeroelasticity principles
  • Knowledge of aircraft manoeuvre loads analysis

Responsibilities

  • Perform aerodynamics modelling for manoeuvre loads computation models
  • Perform manoeuvre loads calculations covering fleet from early design stage until certification
  • Support research and technology with new aircraft configuration assessments
  • Support model based system engineering, automation, and machine learning
  • Carry out L&A analyses of in-service events through Airbus Customer Services
  • Contribute to Loads In-Service Support with troubleshooting for development and production flight test
  • Perform related L&A assessments for in-service aircraft
  • Engage as on-call engineer for timely response to engineering queries
